Patrick explains that he continuously strives for customer-focused service excellence, something that is derived from his many years in the hospitality industry for many years. He says this experience helped him to learn how to manage a business, while the hospitality helped him to understand customer service and managing staff. Neledzi provides commercial and industrial contract cleaning services, hygiene services, pest control services and supply of consumables. It also does deep cleaning and flood clean-up services, pre-occupational cleaning of buildings, spring cleaning and window, carpet and upholstery cleaning. In effect, he says, it offers a one-stop-shop cleaning service, that gives the customer peace of mind and allows them to focus on their core business. Neledzi services banks, offices, hospitality industry entities, educational institutions and shopping centres, to name a few. Neledzi is an outcomes-based company whose actions speak louder than words, adds Patrick. He says that the business is proactive and committed to continuous improvement through innovation, as his aim is to service clients better and more cost effectively. What the company now needs, suggests Patrick, is marketing and an injection of capital to take it to the next level, as well as improved relationships with influential people in facilities management companies and procurement managers in the corporate and parastatal arena. He feels the business is now ready to grow to around 3 000 cleaners, which will hopefully enable it to become the leading cleaning company within the private and public sectors in South Africa.
